Cybercriminals are always looking for ways to exploit businesses and individuals. Phishing emails will attempt to appear as legitimate emails from known senders but, will be used to attempt to have a business or individual provide sensitive personal information or entice the user to click on a link that may contain malicious code.
Recently, both Bank of America and Wells Fargo customers have been targeted in an attempt to steal information such as usernames, passwords, PINs and account numbers. It is important that employees have the tools to identify such attacks. Training on the dangers of social engineering attacks and phishing simulations provide employees with the tools to identify these risks before it is too late.
